Our days

Just some silly things Millie does that I want to remember.

If she hears Jordan's keys in the door when he comes home, she starts crawling as fast as possible to the door.
She hates dresses because its hard to crawl.
When she crawls excitedly,  her hands and legs slip back making her very inefficient.
She loves just about anything in a bottle so she gets some gross veggies and water drinks with a tiny bit of fruit.
Pulling hair is hilarious.
Her belly button pops out when her belly is full.
She loves food and gobbles aything up as long as she gets variety.
She loves her umbrella stroller and is either dancing snd reaching for everything or she is soooo relaxed.
She really loves having a blanket to snuggle in the car or when she is sleepy.
Her favorite toys are maracas. Second is pill bottles. Third, a toothbrush.
She likes to get on her tip toes to clean out her high chair crumbs after she is done eating.
Food is way better if she sees us eating the same thing.
She wiggles and stretches her toes after I take her shoes off.
She pulls her pacifier out to tell stories.
Going places takes forever because Amelia is always making friends.
She likes to eat noses instead of kiss.
She does not understand gravity and drinking bottles so she tries to drink while crawling, standing, playing with no success.

Amelia is the champion raspberry blower. Thia was just another day at Target. She usually isn't in her carrier in the cart anymore but I was hoping she'd fall asleep... you can guess how that worked.

Fourth of july

We had such a fun fourth of july (and yes and am just going to start blogging  like I didn't stop for eight months) We went to Naperville ribfest about thirty minutes from our house. It was really fun! We saw Casey James in concert and ate ribs and watches crazies and ate a funnel cake! So fun! Millie did good and finally knocked out and in her stroller at the concert. We came home and Jordan and Millie napped. We went to a park with our ward to watch fireworks and had so much fun talking to friends. We have a good ward!

I have gotten some unhappy texts from my readers (ya people read this...who knew??) that I didn't take 2 month pictures of Millie. Well I did take them. I will post them. I am sick and Millie was sick. We went to the ER. Okay we are overly concerned are parents and if she was child number 5, I am sure we wouldn't have gone. New posts soon. Promise.

Amelia is so excited for basketball season! So is her dad! I don't quite know how to feel! There are too many sports that span too many months. I wish I got a break!!

I got to go to Young Women's last night for the first time as the new beehive adviser (teacher to 12 year old girls at church) and I was planning on leaving her home with Jordan but he ended up working late so I brought her with me. I was kind of okay not having to leave Millie AND Jordan. Jordan and I went on a date when my mom was here and left her at home but I was getting sad thinking about leaving BOTH of them! I love my little family!

wildlife sanctuary

I am starting to believe we are living in a wildlife sanctuary! We have squirrels that will climb up our screen door! In the bottom picture, you can see a second squirrel just off the door on the left. It REALLY creeps me out!! We used to open the sliding glass door and just leave the screen closed to cool down the apartment sometimes but now it scares me! What if they shoot the door open or broke through the screen! I would have squirrels IN my apartment! And there are just a lot of squirrels everywhere here. And geese but these haven't done anything mean yet! Ya, I hate wildlife now. It is wayyyy too close to my house!

These are still a little big! She has to grow into them!

Here are more things crocheted by my mom! Every time someone sees her creations, they want them too! She needs to open an etsy shop! Truth be told, I don't think she would sell them even for $100 each...she just enjoys doing it for Millie! I hear we have a cute Christmas one coming soon! These were taken a few weeks ago.
